Hewlett-Packard unveils S430c ultra-wide curved monitor that allows you to display two screens at once from different devices and drag and drop files between them.
While the new 43.4-inch monitor is not the most advanced and attractive design, it has several unique characteristics. It has 4K resolution (3840×1200), 60Hz refresh rate, anti-reflective coating, and displays up to 99% of the sRGB color gamut at a maximum brightness of 350 nits..
The main feature is that via USB-C, you can connect two digital devices running on Windows, MacOS, Linux or Android at once, and simultaneously display both of their screens on the monitor, in fact, having two displays of 21.7 inches.
Plus, with an integrated processor and HP DeviceBridge software, you can drag and drop files between two computers. The files will be sent to the respective devices via their USB-C connections.
The S430c also features a retractable IR camera that allows Windows Hello login, two USB-C and four USB-A ports, HDMI, DisplayPort, audio jack, and tilt from -5 to 20 degrees.
This product is not intended for the mass consumer, but it will be useful for those who often have to work on two devices at the same time. HP will start selling the S430c from November 4, 2019, priced at $ 999.
